About
Brian Vaszily
Researcher. Founder. Advocate. Behavioral Longevity is the lens through which he approaches everything.
The Story
Brian Vaszily spent years watching smart, motivated people fail at their health — not because they didn’t know what to do, but because the world around them made it nearly impossible to follow through.
That observation became the engine of his work.
For more than 25 years, Brian has researched longevity, built a 500,000-member global community, and hosted international health summits reaching over 2 million viewers. He’s had deep conversations with hundreds of the world’s leading physicians, neuroscientists, and longevity researchers.
And across all of it, one pattern kept showing up: lasting health change is less about information and more about the environment and systems that shape daily decisions.
He calls this Behavioral Longevity — and it’s the lens through which he approaches everything.
The Core Idea
Most health conversations are built on a flawed assumption.
If people just knew more, they’d do better. Brian thinks that’s incomplete.
The modern world is built to capture attention, trigger impulse, and make short-term gratification feel effortless. Ultra-processed foods are engineered to override fullness cues. Social media platforms are designed to keep you scrolling past your bedtime. Stress is baked into the default settings of daily life.
That’s not a personal failing. It’s a structural problem. And Brian’s work is about making that visible — and giving people a more honest, more useful framework for navigating it.
“Once you see the system, you can start designing around it.”

A Personal Note
Brian’s interest in behavior and decision-making didn’t start in a lab. It started with his own life — watching the gap between what he knew was good for him and what he actually did.
That personal frustration, examined over decades, became a research obsession. His earlier book, The 9 Intense Experiences (Wiley), explored personal transformation. Today, that same curiosity is focused squarely on longevity — on why modern life makes it so hard to age well, and what it looks like when we stop blaming ourselves and start redesigning the environment instead.
